 D.I.V.E. Creative Arts (Devoted In Visual Evangelism) D.I.V.E. Creative Arts Teams include puppets, drama, creative movement and more. The original D.I.V.E. Team was birthed in the summer of 2002. It's foundation began with a handful of young people desiring to stand together committed to live in Christ likeness. Our statement of purpose is found in... I Timothy 4:12-16 (TLB) 12."Don't let anyone think little of you because you are young...Be a pattern...in your love, faith,...and clean thoughts. 13. Until I get there,...preach God's Word. 14. Be sure to use the abilities God has given you...16. Stay true to what is right and God will bless you and use you to help others." Since it's beginning with a small group of 7 teens, until today some 45+ young people and adults have participated in being a part of the DIVE Creative Arts Ministries, with Elementary, Teen & Adult teams being birthed. Teams Include: D.I.V.E. – High School & College Students, (Devoted In Visual Evangelism) practice Tuesdays, 4-6 PM D.I.V.E. T.O.O. – Middle School Students (Devoted In Visual Evangelism Teaching Others Obediently) practice Tuesdays, 4-6 PM W.E. D.I.V.E. – 4th – 6th graders (Witnessing Everyday Devoted In Visual Evangelism) practice Sundays, 4 – 5:30 pm H.I. D.I.V.E. (Devoted In Visual Evangelism His Instruments) Consists of team members of all ages, this team is made up of multiple small groups who desire to be a part of the creative arts team, however have a limited time to invest. These small group teams share in different ways within the ministry of our church and for missions trips. practice Sunday’s, 4-5:30 pm, or Wednesday’s 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Each team performs once a month in Children’s Worship, and when called upon to serve in other areas of the ministry of our church. The DIVE & DIVE TOO Teams (High School & Middle School students) accept opportunities to travel and have had opportunity to share in outreach evangelism settings such as Kid’s Bible Clubs, kid’s krusades, VBS, children’s camps, Revival services, competitions and One Way Street Festival Performances. Opportunities to serve: team member, creative arts team leader/facilitator, assistant team leader costuming maintenance, costume creating, props team member, sound technician, equipment manager, props manager
