Welcome to the AWANA Club at Hopewell.  We are excited about what God will do with boys and girls through AWANA Club this year.  It is II Timothy 2:15 which says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth”.

Our AWANA Club meets on Sunday afternoon from 5:30 – 7:15.

Our year begins when school starts in August and ends in May

Our classes are:                       Cubbies           3 ,4 and young 5 year olds

                                                Sparks             Kindergarten, 1^st & 2^nd Grades

                                                T&T Girls        3^rd - 6^th Grade

                                                T&T Boys       3^rd - 6^th Grade

The goal of the AWANA Club is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ.  The program itself has three elements, including  Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time.  Boys and girls enjoy the games with fun competition, the group Bible Study in Council Time and the awards given for Bible memorization.  The greatest benefit is they will forever have God’s Word hidden in their hearts.  We hope that through our AWANA club every child will understand and make a personal choice to commit their heart and life to Jesus Christ; making their own personal salvation decision. 

We invite you to join us in our club meetings at any time as well as participate in our club activities.  We ask that you show appreciation to our club leaders by picking up your child on time, and we will do our best to stay on schedule and finish club on time.  Thank you for allowing your child to be a part of our AWANA Club this year.  God bless you and your family.
