"Go ye"...Jesus said as he gave us the great commission.  Preach...he said, as told us how to do it and Baptize, he said, as he told us what to do, and then Teach, he said, this will help them grow.

Here at Hopewell, we are committed to continuing that command today.  2008 is the year we ask the Lord for 360 new souls to be added to His Kingdom as we embark to fulfill the great commission.  This year will be a year that will never be forgotten in the history of Hopewell Baptist Church.  This year we will begin a journey to pray for the lost; to give opportunities to reach them; and to incorporate them in the church.

This will begin with a committment to Missions on January 13th and a committment to "each one reaching one" for 2008 on January 20th.  This will be helped through the FAITH program here at Hopewell that will start up on January 22nd, but does not only include it. 

On January 25th - 26th, Glen Sheppard will be with us for a Prayer and Spiritual Warfare Conference.  This will help us to begin praying for the Lost and for the Jamey Ragle Revival in February. 

On February 1st, we will begin the Prayer Cottage meetings as we prepare ourselves  for the revival with Jamey Ragle on February 17th - 20th.   

This revival and other planned events will give us ample opportunities throughout the year to "reach one" with the Gospel.  We pray that this revival will not end with the meetings but will continue to expand and grow as we enter the Easter season. 

On March 16th, the Music Ministry of Hopewell Baptist Church will be presenting a Worship Musical called 3:16, The Numbers of Hope, based on Max Lucado's new book with the same name.  This is an evangelical event that you will not want to miss; all the more to bring an unchurched, unsaved loved one as we will be preparing our hearts for Easter.

On March 23, we will be having special Easter services at 9am & 11am.  This time is a wonderful opportunity to invite someone who has never accepted the Life Giving Message of Salvation.
