  • Each One, Reach One

    Each One, Reach One

With 100 baptized in 2008, we rejoice in the Lord for such a great harvest of souls but...In 2009, what would this world be if each one reached one?

    The Great Commission

    16. Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:16-20 (New International Version)

Verse of The Day

“Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.” (Amos 5:14-15)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

Welcome to Hopewell Baptist Church

Norman1 There are three aspects to our salvation; salvation from the penalty of sin, salvation from the power of sin, and ultimately, salvation from the presence of sin.  Every believer is in the second process of salvation as God has called each to “work out his salvation” knowing it is God all along working in us to do His will.  Hopewell exists as a body of believers in process.  It is a process that started in each person’s life when they accepted Christ and continues until his return, a process of being saved from the power of sin’s control.  We welcome you to our website and pray you will be blessed and informed by what you see.

Our service times are as follows:

  • Sunday AM 9:30 (Contemporary) & First Sunday School Hour
  • Sunday AM 11:00 (Blended) & Second Sunday School Hour
  • Sunday PM 5:30 AWANA for Children
  • Sunday PM 6:00
  • Wednesday activities begin at 6:30PM.
